SUMMONS TO THE 2ND ORDINARY MEETING OF THE 1ST SESSION OF THE 9TH ASSEMBLY OF THE ASANTE AKIM CENTRAL MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY SLATED FOR WEDNESDAY, 30TH OCTOBER, 2024

All members were summoned to attend a General Assembly Meeting of the Asante Akim Central Municipal Assembly which was slated for Wednesday, 30th and Thursday, 31st October, 2024 at the Conference Hall of the Municipal Assembly, Konongo-Odumasi at 10: 00am prompt.

The Presiding Member who also acted as the chairman for the meeting advised for a peaceful campaigning void of any confusions or violence as we prepare towards the general elections on 7th December, 2024.

He spoke on the incessant rise in crime in the municipality and caution the security bodies to take heed to combat these menace to the barest minimal.

He also commended the Assembly on the ongoing developmental projects in the assembly facility and stated that this action will make the AACMA to become more competitive.

He announced that Farmer’s day celebration rescheduled for 8th November, 2024 at BoatengKrom instead of the usual date of 6th December, 2024 which will not be possible due to upcoming election.

Present at the meeting was the Member of Parliament, the Municipal Chief Executive, Presiding Member, Assembly Members, Municipal Chief Director and all Heads of Departments.
