REPORT OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE ASANTE AKIM CENTRAL MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, 3RD JULY, 2025 AT THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE.

INTRODUCTION

The Executive Committee of the Assembly met on Thursday, 3RD July, 2025 to consider reports emanating from the meetings of the various Sub-Committees of the Assembly

The Executive Committee in accordance with section 21 ( 2 ) ( c ) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 ( Act 936 ) recommends the following decisions to the General Assembly for consideration and approval.

The following Sub-Committees presented their reports:

1. Development Planning Sub-Committee

2. Works Sub-Committee

3. Agriculture Sub-Committee

4. Social Services Sub-Committee

5. Environmental Health And Sanitation Sub-Committee

6. Micro And Small-Scale Enterprises Sub-Committee

7. Finance And Administration Sub-Committee

The Executive Committee recommended that the Assembly should secure an operational space for the wheelbarrow operators.

A move was made for the adoption of the Executive Committee Report for the consideration of the House which was signed or endorsed by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE)
