On the 20th November, 2024 the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) today officially opened an office at Konongo. This office is to serve four districts, these districts are: Asante Akim Municipal, Asante Akim North Municipal, Asante Akim South Municipal and Bosomefreho District.

This facility was launched to decentralize the process of licensing and evaluation of drivers and cars in the above Districts mentioned.

This will ease and facilitate the process of vehicle licensing and evaluation in the Municipality.
