On 26th December, 2025 at the Asante Akim Municipal Assembly premises, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Committee for Persons with Disabilities, the Social Welfare Department, and the Association of People with Disabilities, donated items including 12 freezers, 4fufu pounding machines, industrial and electric sewing machines, 1 photocopy machine, a printer, 1 gas oven, a welding machine, electric tools sharpener, knapsack and motor spraying machines, bags of rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, 145 bags of charcoal, farming equipment, and many more.

The Hon MCE stated that the support is aimed at improving the livelihoods of Persons with Disabilities through the Common Fund, made possible by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
