The people of Asante Akyem Central in the Ashanti Region are set to host the third edition of the Asante Akyem Central August Festival (AACAFest) from August 15 to 31, 2025.

This year’s celebration, themed “Connecting, Projecting and Developing,” aims to foster unity, strengthen support systems, and drive development across the municipality.

In an interview, the Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo, extended an open invitation to indigenes both home and abroad.

He encouraged them to join the festivities, noting that their participation would help promote unity and provide practical solutions to some of the pressing challenges facing the area.

AACAFest 2025 promises a vibrant lineup of activities, including a health walk, free health screening, a trade fair, an awards night, the Miss AACAFest pageant, and a food bazaar, among other engaging events.

The third edition of AACAFEST took place 15th to 31st August, 2025, featuring activities such as:

1. Live Music Performance: Artist like Obrafour performed live at the Odumasi Community Centre in Konongo-Odumasi.

2. Gospel Rock Shows: Events were held at the Konongo Roman Catholic Church, featuring worship sessions.

3. Awards Ceremony: the AACAFEST Excellence Awards recognized outstanding individuals, including Abdulfattah Yussif, who won Sports Host and Media Personality of the Year.

4. Dinner Live Band Sessions: Held at Crystal Blue Moon Hotel in Konongo, the event brought community leaders and dignitaries.
